LOEB FrayMédia Motorsport-RZR Factory Racing announces five crews across two Polaris platforms for the 2026 Dakar Rally, including the all-new RZR Pro R Rally built for the SSV 1 category.

The LOEB FrayMédia Motorsport team has announced an expanded roster for the upcoming Dakar Rally, fielding five crews across two generations of Polaris vehicles. The announcement marks the team's continued partnership with Polaris following two consecutive Dakar Rally victories in the SSV category.

The team will compete under the official designation LOEB FrayMédia Motorsport-RZR Factory Racing, operating as part of a structured, multi-year racing programme. Sébastien Loeb, co-founder, summed up the approach: "This project is built step by step, with a lot of passion and a methodical approach."

Vehicle Line-Up

The 2026 campaign features two vehicle categories. In the T4 category, the reigning champion RZR PRO R Factory will be driven by Johan Kristoffersson/Ola Fløene and Florent Vayssade/Nicolas Rey. In the newly introduced SSV 1 category, the all-new RZR PRO R Rally will be piloted by Brock Heger/Max Eddy Jr., Xavier De Soultrait/Martin Bonnet, and Gonçalo Guerreiro/Maykel Justo.

Alex Scheuerell, Director of Polaris Racing, highlighted the new platform: "The all-new RZR Pro R Rally, purpose-built to compete in the newly introduced SSV1 category, features proprietary Dynamix semi-active suspension technology."

Drivers expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event, with the team emphasising cohesion and performance as the primary objectives for the 2026 Dakar campaign.
