Episode 16 of Ranger Stories follows Vestige Hotels on their 800-hectare Menorca estate, where Polaris Ranger XP Kinetic electric vehicles power everything from farm-to-table produce runs to guest experiences.

Polaris has been travelling across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to capture how customers integrate the Polaris Ranger into their daily operations — and Episode 16 of Ranger Stories takes us to a stunning 800-hectare estate on the Spanish island of Menorca.

Episode 16: Vestige Hotels – Son Ermità, Menorca

Vestige Hotels manages the sprawling Son Ermità property, which overlooks the renowned Camí de Cavalls hiking trail. The estate relies on a fleet of Polaris Ranger XP Kinetic all-electric vehicles to support both staff operations and guest experiences.

The Kinetic's electric powertrain provides silent operation, enabling groundskeeping and guest services without disturbing the resort's peaceful atmosphere. With 110 HP output and 140 lb-ft of torque, teams can navigate the steep, rocky terrain down to the property's private beach with ease.

The 567 kg rear bed capacity supports the hotel's farm-to-table restaurant concept, carrying fresh produce directly from orchards to the kitchen. José Molina, Guest Experience Manager, noted: "The Rangers can ensure that we can bring fresh produce directly from our orchards to our restaurant."

With up to 70 km range (Premium trim), the fleet can service the entire estate and return on a single charge, recharging overnight ready for the next day. The hotel, originally an 18th-century farmhouse, reflects Vestige's commitment to sympathetic restoration — and the Polaris Ranger XP Kinetic fits perfectly into that vision.

Polaris is marking four decades of ATV manufacturing with the limited-edition Sportsman XP 1000 S 40th Anniversary Edition — retro-inspired graphics, commemorative badging, and the full XP 1000 S spec underneath. Available this winter.

In 1985 Polaris introduced the first American-engineered ATV. Forty years on, the company is marking that milestone with a limited-edition model that blends genuine heritage with the most capable ATV platform in the current lineup — the Sportsman XP 1000 S 40th Anniversary Edition.

The design draws directly from the iconic 1996 Sportsman 500, with exclusive retro-inspired graphics, commemorative badging, and premium Super Graphite paint. But underneath the nostalgic styling sits the full XP 1000 S specification: the 952cc ProStar engine, electronic power steering, ProSteer technology, on-demand all-wheel drive, and a 1,588 kg winch.

Rodrigo Lourenco, VP of Off Road Vehicles Sales for EMEA, summed it up: "The 40th Anniversary Edition is a celebration of the legacy" built across four decades of consistent performance and durability. Polaris has also launched a '40 Years Strong' video campaign, with the first episode — '40 Years of Early Starts' — celebrating the farming community that has relied on Polaris machines across generations.

Being a limited edition, stock will be finite. If you want one, the time to act is now — the 40th Anniversary Edition is arriving at European dealerships this winter 2025/26. Talk to Webb Engineers to check availability and secure yours before they're gone.

Episode 15 of Polaris Ranger Stories visits Saalbach Hinterglemm, where five businesses — from mountaintop restaurants to slope managers — rely on a fleet of 12+ Rangers to keep the mountain economy moving through every season.

If you want proof of what a Polaris RANGER is capable of across four seasons, look no further than Saalbach Hinterglemm, Austria — one of Europe's most demanding mountain environments. Episode 15 of the Ranger Stories documentary series follows five very different businesses that have built their operations around the RANGER, and the picture it paints is compelling.

Managing Director Gerold Vonblon captures the requirement perfectly: "Vehicles that are reliable day-in, day-out, and can be adapted to the extreme seasons." That's not marketing copy — it's the operational reality for everyone featured in this episode.

Who's Running What — and Why

Thomas Johann Ferner operates a mountaintop restaurant. Three snow-tracked Rangers deliver ingredients up terrain no other vehicle could handle in winter. Fritz Steger manages ski slopes for major competitions — his Rangers keep him moving across the mountain during the busiest periods of the year. Sepp Gensbichler runs a slope-side restaurant; his heated-cab RANGER provides year-round access regardless of conditions.

Most impressively, Hannes Gensbichler manages winter maintenance for the whole region with a fleet of twelve Polaris machines. Twelve. When a single operator commits to that level of fleet investment, it says everything about the reliability and adaptability of the platform.

The flexibility on show — snow tracks, full cab kits, heating systems, seasonal wheel conversion — is exactly what makes the RANGER so well suited to UK operations too. Whether it's a farm, estate, golf course, or commercial facility, the RANGER adapts to your environment rather than the other way around. Talk to Webb Engineers about the RANGER range and what we can configure to suit your specific needs.

Episode 14 of Ranger Stories visits Hectar, an innovative 300-hectare pilot farm outside Paris, where the Polaris RANGER XP Kinetic has transformed daily operations — delivering zero emissions, instant torque, and serious capability across challenging terrain.

The agricultural sector is changing fast — and the tools that support it need to change with it. Hectar, the ambitious pilot farm and agricultural innovation hub located outside Paris, has put the Polaris RANGER XP Kinetic at the heart of its operations. The results speak for themselves.

Founded by tech entrepreneur Xavier Niel and former presidential advisor Audrey Bourolleau, Hectar operates across 300 hectares as a testbed for the next generation of farmers and food-tech entrepreneurs. The estate demands a vehicle that can handle everything — from muddy winter tracks to steep terrain — without compromise.

Farm Manager Eléonore de Brek was direct about the impact: "The Ranger has completely transformed our way of working." The electric powertrain's instantaneous torque handles the farm's challenging gradients, while the 567 kg cargo capacity and 1,134 kg towing rating cover the heavy lifting. Zero emissions on-site aligns perfectly with the farm's sustainability ethos.

What the RANGER XP Kinetic Delivers

140 lb-ft of instant torque. 567 kg load capacity. 1,134 kg towing. On-demand all-wheel drive. Up to 80 miles range on a single charge. 35.5 cm ground clearance. Automatic transmission with electric power steering. For farms and estates where noise, emissions or fuel costs are a concern, the Kinetic makes an increasingly compelling case.

At Webb Engineers we stock and supply the full RANGER lineup including the XP Kinetic. If you're considering making the switch to electric utility vehicles — or simply want to understand whether the Kinetic is right for your operation — come and talk to us. We can arrange a demonstration on your land so you can see the capability for yourself.

At the 47th Dakar Rally, held across Saudi Arabia from 3–17 January 2025, Brock Heger and co-pilot Max Eddy Jr. piloted the Polaris RZR Pro R Factory to overall victory in the SSV T4 category — marking Polaris's eighth Dakar win and a second consecutive title for the team.

Heger won the prologue, then went on to claim nine consecutive podium finishes across the 12 stages before sealing the overall win. It was his first Dakar Rally appearance, which makes the achievement all the more remarkable. "Winning the Dakar is incredible — I think it will sink in over the next few days," he said after the finish.

Supporting crews Xavier de Soultrait and Martin Bonnet led the race until a technical issue on the penultimate stage, eventually finishing 21st overall. Florent Vayssade and Nicolas Rey completed the rally in 26th. The TH Trucks Rally Team also impressed, with Enrico Gaspari and Fausto Mota finishing fifth overall.

Alex Scheuerell, RZR Factory Racing Technical Director, put it perfectly: the Dakar victory "reflects the unmatched synergy between Polaris engineering and the SLR team" — and crucially, the technology proven on the rally stages feeds directly back into the production RZR lineup.

What wins at Dakar isn't some far-removed race prototype — it's the same RZR platform we supply right here at Webb Engineers. If you've been considering a Polaris RZR, there's no better endorsement than the world's toughest race.
At the Dakar 2025 rest day in Ha'il, Sébastien Loeb Racing had already won the prologue and two stages — Brock Heger sitting first overall, with team-mate De Soultrait in second. The RZR Pro R was dominating.

Halfway through the 2025 Dakar Rally and the story was already being written in Polaris's favour. At the rest day in Ha'il, following five gruelling stages including a demanding 48-hour chronometer section, Sébastien Loeb Racing had their RZR Pro R machines sitting first and second overall in the SSV category.

Brock Heger and Max Eddy Jr. led the field with a time of 31h 51m 54s, while team-mates Xavier de Soultrait and Martin Bonnet sat second, 1 hour 18 minutes behind. The team had already claimed three stage victories through the prologue and first two competitive stages.

The RZR Pro R's performance across mixed terrain — dunes, rocky stages, and the marathon's endurance demands — underlines what makes it such a compelling machine in the real world too. The same characteristics that keep it competitive across 5,000 kilometres of Saudi desert make it outstanding on farms, estates, and off-road terrain in the UK.

As your local authorised Polaris dealer, Webb Engineers can put you in an RZR Pro R. Come and talk to us — whether you're after a high-performance recreation machine or something capable enough for serious work, the RZR range delivers.
